I just returned from a week @ Natural Mystic Cottages and I want to go back!
These are rustic and simple accommodations in the heart of Belmont. Lydia is a fantastic host and ensured that I felt safe and taken care of throughout my entire stay (I was traveling solo) and breakfast was oh soooo good.
Lydia’s hospitality started right at pick up and didn’t waiver my whole stay. A stop at a dispensary (herb house) and lounge to enjoy my purchases, and several stops along the way to the cottages to introduce me to local foods, sights, and the people in her village. It was a great introduction and made my first trips out of the yard on my own a ton more relaxed.
The tour included in my package was wonderful and I learned a ton from Brian on our walk to and from the farm which was beautiful and a great learning experience.
Lydia also hosted a day trip for myself and another guest and we had a blast hiking along rivers, swimming in pools and eating locally prepared dinner, and visiting a cave with a spectacular, sad, and powerful history plus the mud rub at the end was bliss.
