Bamboo Villa is a two-bedroom villa in the gated community of Hartland Estate in Priory, a seaside village along the Jamaican north coast about 40 minutes from the Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, close to the resort town of Ocho Rios. The property is within a short walk of several beaches and conveniently close to restaurants, shopping and attractions. The canopy-like bamboo trees that overhang the back veranda is the source of the villa’s name.

The villa comes with modern furnishings and amenities that include air-conditioned bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable and spacious dining lounge. Guests have the experience of a home away from home with some of the benefits of being at a resort. It’s only a 5-minute walk to Priory Beach and well-known restaurants such as Plantation Steakhouse, Seaside Dutchie, and Seacrest Hotel as well as interesting local eateries such as the Pudding Shop. Nearby attractions include Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Green Grotto Cave, Chukka Cove, and Mystic Mountain.

Very welcoming to ganja enthusiasts

Bamboo Villa welcomes ganja enthusiasts but prefers that they consume on the verandas and elsewhere on the property. Smoking is forbidden inside the villa. There are several herb houses in the area including Kaya with a dispensary that also includes a cafe, bar, pizzeria and dab bar.
