Supporting small Rastafari farmers

Jah Livity works exclusively with small Rastafari farmers interested in selling the organic, high-quality ganja they produce in excess of their personal, sacramental needs. All of them from Jamaica’s most famous ganja growing region – Orange Hill, a district not far from the company’s home base in Negril. Ganja has been an integral part of Rastafari life, culture, and religious practices for more than 80 years; nobody knows weed better than they do. Jah Livity operates under an exemption in Jamaican law for the Rastafarian church and sees itself as more than just a business; it considers itself a social enterprise rooted in the rich traditions of  Rastafarianism with a mission to share the culture and vibrant spirit of Jamaica with the world while also making a positive impact on its local Negril community. And as such, uses its resources to support not just the church but a range of community organizations as well.
