The Land of Oshun is a hidden paradise in Berrydale, a popular river rafting destination on the Rio Grande River in the rain forest of northeastern Jamaica near Port Antonio, about 2 hours across the mountains from Kingston. The property is on a small river island and is reachable only by raft. With lush green forests, cascading waterfalls, and abundant peace and quiet, this little Eden offers comfortable bamboo cabins, vegan meals, wellness workshops, mineral pools, healing water tours, bamboo rafting, rest, relaxation and all manner of nature tours under the guidance of Akashi, a plant-based chef and wellness facilitator who welcomes guests with warm smiles and fresh coconut water.

Guests are invited to embrace the character of this beautiful paradise while bathing in the mineral pool, strolling along the river bank, and embarking on a transformational experience. The bamboo cabins are on a hill overlooking the river and come with amenities that include queen sized bamboo beds, hammocks, and kitchenettes. All meals are prepared using local and organic produce according to the Rastafari principles of ital cooking which uses natural and unprocessed ingredients.

Guests engage in wellness activities that include meditation, deep breathing, and yoga. Marijuana plays an important role in the therapeutic activities and guests can expect to receive a personal supply on arrival.
