This guesthouse, at the edge of a coffee farm in the breathtaking Blue Mountains, is about 45 minutes from Kingston’s bustling streets and 90 minutes from Norman Manley International Airport. It is a mountain paradise for backpackers, photographers, birdwatchers, and other nature lovers within an old colonial military hill station settlement built by the British Army that is now part of the Blue Mountain and John Crow Mountain National Parks.

5 very spacious units

Prince Valley offers accommodations in 5 unique units, one of which is a tree house. There is a spacious, main family unit that sleeps up to six people, a second, with a covered veranda, sleeps as many as four; a third sleeps just two people; the fourth is built around a mango tree; and, the fifth can also sleep four.

Prince Valley Guest House is a place to discover the other Jamaica: the quiet majesty and beauty of the Blue Mountains, cool mountain streams, exotic tropical birds, abundant coffee fields and a myriad of hiking trails. The verandas are a place to relax, in the beautiful mountain views and the small coffee farm just below while sipping on the best brew on the planet. Nearby places of interest include Newcastle Soldiers Camp, Mavis Bank Coffee Factory, Craighton Coffee Estate, and Cinchona Botanical Gardens.

Good dining nearby

Guests do not have access to kitchen facilities but there is good dining at the guesthouse and in the local community. Mount Edge Café and Jays Guesthouse Restaurant are among the nearby restaurants.
