In Negril’s West End

The Resort at Westmoreland is in Negril’s West End about 90 minutes from the Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and 15 minutes from Negril town center and 7-Mile-Beach. It’s a very short taxi drive into town for restaurants, entertainment, and the beach. The guesthouse’s 16 rooms, on a property abundant with tropical fruit trees and herbs, all have a veranda facing the swimming pool and bar area. All the rooms have Wi-Fi, and a tv; some have air conditioning and/or wall fans.

The resort prefers mature guests, especially those interested in Jamaican culture and cuisine. And,strives to create an environment for people looking for peace and serenity in mind, body, and spirit. The property’s never-ending ocean air, exotic plants, and many tropical fruit trees are all part of the plan to help guests rest and rejuvenate.

Many dining options

There are no restaurant facilities at the resort, but guests have access to many dining options nearby. These include Rock House, Push Cart, Ivans, Erica’s and Ricks Cafe. There are also abundant restaurants, bars and entertainment on the Negril strip, a short taxi ride away.

A ganja friendly property

The Resort Westmoreland is very open to ganja, but guests are required to toke outside the rooms and to respect other guests who do not wish to be in a smoking environment.
